North Carolina* Children under 16 cannot work in places such as a mill, factory, cannery, workshop, laundry, bakery, office, hotel, restaurant, barber shop, brick yard or lumber yard. (These are just a few)

*cannot be employed during school hours *cannot be employed before 7 am and after 7 pm * cannot work more then three hours on a school day (including Friday) * cannot work more then eight hours a day on school days *cannot work more then 18 hours during a school week *cannot work more then 40 hours during a non school week *cannot work in places such as manufacturing or mining (just a couple of examples) |
